Not just that, their resemblance to aliens we saw in movies and fiction made them called the Peruvian alien mummies. In fact, years later after its discovery, the alien mummies remain a topic of debate. As UFO hearing by the Mexican Congress had its own opinion on the claims of the researchers.
Findings of the researchers about Peruvian alien mummies
The discovery of the Peruvian alien mummies came from the St. Petersburg researchers. In their study of the mummies, they claimed the anatomical structure of the mummies was different from that of humans. Not to miss, the mummies were found to have only three fingers.
Professor Konstantin Korotkov from Russian National Research University told Sputnik news “The tissue has biological nature and their chemical composition indicated that they are humans. Their DNA features 23 pairs of chromosomes, just like we have”.
Adding more he said, “All four of them are males, each with a Y chromosome. They appear human but they are not. Their anatomic structure is different”.

As per reports, the Russian professor had even suggested about the mummies that the “figures could have been from an extraterrestrial background”. However, the claims were criticized by some other researchers.
