Tesla’s stock plunged more than 10% on Friday, owing to concerns that Musk’s political comments and alleged sexual misconduct could affect the company’s reputation and sales.
Tesla is building a hardcore litigation department where we directly initiate & execute lawsuits. The team will report directly to me.

Why is Tesla seeking lawsuit counsel?
Tesla is developing a new team to focus on the company’s “Litigation Department,” which will mostly deal with lawsuits and cases brought against it.
The new team will also launch lawsuits against other companies and entities that Tesla may face in the future.
Elon Musk revealed that he is now accepting applications for this new department and that he is searching for “hardcore streetfighters” to join the squad.
According to Elon Musk, Tesla is forming a new department that will help the company gain the upper hand in numerous circumstances and grow on them for their purposes.
Musk’s move to assemble a legal team comes only days after it was revealed that he had settled a sexual misconduct suit for $250,000.
The flight attendant’s hours were cut and her schedule was lowered as a result of the incident. It cited a declaration filed by a friend of the flight attendant in support of her claim against the firm.
Tesla has a substantial legal team, including litigation attorneys, but it frequently uses outside firms for more complex matters.
The company has always been involved in legal concerns, but it has recently been embroiled in a number of high-profile litigation, including a racial discrimination case that resulted in a $137 million judgement that was eventually reduced to $15 million.
