Drake wins over $1.2 million Bitcoin on Super Bowl Bet

Drake scooped up more than $1.2 million worth of bitcoin after placing several bets on Sunday’s Super Bowl.

Drake earns over $1.2 million in Bitcoin after Super Bowl bet

Drake made a ‘psychotic’ bet on Super Bowl LVII which ended up in him scooping $1,262,000 in Bitcoin (BTC).

Moreover, he won big after the Kansas City Chiefs came out victorious following their match with the Philadelphia Eagles. It ended with a score of 38-35 at State Farm Stadium in Glendale, Arizona.

Drake, whose real name is Aubrey Graham, took to his social media on 10th February to share pictures of the multiple bets he made.

In additi on, he outlined the post with a caption that read, ‘My psychotic bets for Sunday are in @stake.’

The Canadian singer further insisted his fan to not, ‘analyze the logic behind these bets there is none.’

Meanwhile, Drake used the cryptocurrency betting site Stake to place bets on several Super Bowl events this year. 

He wagered $700,00 in $BTC on the Chiefs and ended up getting $777,000 in return.

Furthermore, the 36-year-old singer wagered $50,000 in $BTC for quarterback Patrick Mahomes to score a touchdown. 

The star player managed to score three touchdowns during the match, which led Drake to earn $700.000 toward the end of the game.

Drake placed the third bet on the prediction that Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce will win the Super Bowl MVP. However, this bet turned out to be unsuccessful as Mahomes won it.

He further made a bet on wide receiver JuJu Smith-Schuster to score a touchdown which unfortunately did not come through.

Although the God’s Plan artist lost $215,000 on $BTC, his overall profit reached $1.2 million in the aftermath.

Drake won $381,000 in Bitcoin last year

Drake won a fortune of $381,000 worth in Bitcoin last year after the Los Angeles Rams defeated the Cincinnati Bengals with a score of 23-20 at the Super Bowl LVI.

The influential figure used his Bitcoin holdings to make three large bets that totaled $1.25 million before leading up to the big game.

He wagered $600,000 on the Rams to take down the Bengals with a payout of $906,000.

However, oftentimes Drake has an unsuccessful streak while betting on major sporting events.

For instance, he lost $275,000 after Colby Covington defeated Jorge Masvidal at UFC 273 in March 2022.
