According to Action News, Drake has reportedly cancelled his anticipated concert in Memphis. Tickets are no longer available for the event, according to the Ticketmaster website. The FedEx Forum performance in Memphis, Tennessee, was scheduled for August 6, 2023. The Canadian rapper’s representative said of the cancellation, “Due to the magnitude of the Drake concert production, it is logistically challenging to bring the show as intended for the FedEx Forum on August 6th.” Unfortunately, the show has been cancelled. All purchases will be refunded.

On July 5, 2023, Drake began his It’s All a Blur tour in Chicago and is scheduled to conclude on October 29, 2023, in Columbus, Ohio. The show also features American rapper 21 Savage, who appears on several songs during the 58-song setlist. Memphis supporters were outraged and disappointed when word spread that the God’s Plan rapper had cancelled his tour stop for the second time. There was initially a scheduled concert for June 29, 2023, but it had to be postponed a few days beforehand due to unforeseen circumstances. The new date was set for August 6. However, Drake was able to go to Memphis and receive an honorary key to the county despite the postponement. On June 27, 2023, Shelby County Commission Chairman Mickell Lowery bestowed the honor upon him.
