Doja Cat is opening up about a recent tonsil surgery she had to have due to an infection caused by drinking and vaping while attending the 2022 Billboard Music Awards.

Doja Cat revealed about Tonsil Surgery

The singer, who brought home two accolades at the weekend’s huge awards presentation, rushed to Twitter on Thursday to announce the news of her oral surgery, implying that she would not be singing again anytime soon.
“My left tonsil had to be taken out by the doctor. It was infected with an abscess. My entire throat is messed up, therefore I may have some unpleasant news for you shortly “Doja Cat penned this. “My tonsils became sick before bbmas, and I was taking antibiotics but forgot about them, and then I drank wine and vaped all day long,” she said.

Doja Cat went on to discuss the medical process in detail

The “Need To Know” the artist said that she had surgery to remove an abscess from her left tonsil. “My left tonsil had to be taken out by the doctor. I had an abscess in it. My entire throat is messed up, therefore I may have some awful news for you shortly “she said “Nah, my tonsils were infected before BBM,” she stated. “And I was on antibiotics but forgot about them, and then I drank wine and vaped all day, and then I had a horrific growth on my tonsil, they had to operate on it today.” She went on to discuss the medical process in great detail (to to the dismay of her admirers), before concluding, “it hurt a lot but I’m OK.”

Doja Cat will quit vaping

Doja Cat reacted to fan worries. By saying she would attempt to have her tonsils removed “soon”. And that she would try to stop vaping “for a time” so she wouldn’t want it anymore. On The Weeknd’s upcoming After Hours Till Dawn summer tour, the “Kiss Me More” rapper will be his tour support.
