The incident is on 7th February 2022, where an old-time friend of Alex and Franky Venegas, Island boys, has been arrested from their home. The name of the murder suspect is Andrew James Thomas who is arrested by the cops on 7th February.
During the investigation, it has been found that Thomas was living with the TikTok stars for the last couple of days. He has been accused of a drive-by shooting of an 8-year-old girl and other Felonies which resulted in their arrest.
The TikTokers have not been arrested under any charges. They are co-operating with the Police Department, as of now, for investigating.
Alex Venegas Was Present At The Time of Raid

Alex Venegas’ has reported that Andrew James Thomas was trying to hide his black handgun just before the cops raided at their place. When the raid took place, Alex was present there. He claimed that Thomas was afraid and tried to convince him to hide his gun and asked him for help but he refused.
When the police reached the Island boy’s home, Alex informed them that Thomas is in the laundry room. When Thomas came back he did not have his handgun with him. But during the investigation, the police found the handgun from the laundry room closet.
The island boys told the media that they were unaware of Thomas’ crime. Thomas is their childhood friend and they grew up together, said by the Island boys. They knew him as a quiet child.
Alex Venegas said, “he would come and hang out and do his thing and go back to whatever he got going on, but we had no clue about any of these allegations towards him. We just knew him as a good person, someone who grew up with the Island boys. If we knew something like this was going on, we would have never allowed him on the property.”
Little Girl Murdered by Thomas
As per sources, Thomas is charged with first-degree murder, weapon possession, and probation violations from a previous robbery case. An 8-year-old girl, Ronziyah ‘Ziyah’ Atkins, was the victim who got killed by Thomas.
On 4th February, Thomas shot Ziyah at around 7:00 PM while she was playing in the yard of her home. After she was shot, people took her to Palm Beach County hospital but she died.
It is believed by the authorities that Thomas might have been targeting someone else but mistakenly shot the little girl. Currently, he is being held at the Broward Main Jail.
