Following Demi Lovato’s announcement, it has been revealed that Ariana Grande is also preparing to part ways with her long-term manager, Scooter Braun. Not only that, but sources have revealed that she is leaving the SB projects that he manages. The announcement might not have been as big if it had been just one musician. However, now that two of the artists have announced their split, the concept is undoubtedly raising some concerns. Billboard reported this week that Ariana Grande was ready to cut ways with her long-term manager, Scooter Braun. She’d been working with Scooter since 2013. As a result, she will be looking for a new manager after ten years. Furthermore, the news comes on the same day that Demi Lovato announced her break from the same management company and its owner.

Scooter had been working with the vocalist since 2019. Grande and Scooter Braun have been linked since her Nickelodeon days and throughout Grande’s career. She has released six albums since then, with most of them debuting at the top of the Billboard 200 chart. She has 20 Billboard Hot 100 top 10 hits, with seven of them reaching No. 1. Even though Grande has not released an album since Positions in 2020, she is preparing to celebrate the tenth anniversary of Yours Truly. This includes reissuing the album and doing live versions of certain tracks. She appeared on The Voice in 2021 and will star in the planned 2024 film adaption of the musical Wicked.

Grande and Braun initially collaborated in 2013 with her debut album Yours Truly, which was rereleased last week to commemorate its tenth anniversary. Before the SAG AFTRA strike started last month, Grande was most recently in Oz filming the live-action Wicked adaption. In 2019, Demi Lovato signed with Braun for the first time According to Billboard, the musician does not yet have new management but is in talks and “was grateful for her time with SB Projects.”
