DEBUNKED: Wendy Williams’ alleged marriage with NYPD cop, Daytime talk show host’s Rumors

Wendy Williams, a writer and TV personality, disclosed to Jason Lee of Hollywood Unlocked on Tuesday, August 2, that she wed an officer of the New York Police Department (NYPD). She added that the name of this presumed husband was Henry.
Williams’ manager, William Selby, however, informed Page Six that she is not wed to the police officer and may have made these claims out of excitement. The 58-year-old native of New Jersey withheld any other information about her supposed nuptials to Henry, an NYPD officer.
Despite Selby’s claims, Williams stated in her response to presenter and founder of Hollywood Unlocked Jason Lee’s inquiry regarding her nuptials that she had recently been married. Williams at the time informed Lee in the phone call saying: “I’m married…I got married…I got married last week.”
The marriage of Wendy Williams and an NYPD officer
In the interview, Wendy Williams avoided going into more detail about her putative husband Henry, an alleged NYPD officer. The TV host, however, made no mention of his identity or position within the division.
Her alleged manager William Selby spoke to Page Six after the interview and said the following: “That’s incorrect…She got carried away in talking presumably because she is eager about a new connection.
According to Radar Online, Selby and Williams were once said to have been dating. Selby allegedly had a romantic relationship with Williams in 2020 after she finalized her divorce from her longtime partner Kevin Hunter, according to the newspaper.
Prior claims of a romance involving Wendy Williams were refuted
After 23 years of marriage, Wendy Williams and Kevin Hunter split in 2020, citing irreconcilable differences and declining to pay alimony to one another. Williams stated that she started dating a doctor who was supposedly in his 50s not long after she filed for divorce in 2019. On her show at the time, she discussed the purported relationship. Wilson stated:
“I’m no longer available. Not in love, I say. I have no idea how I’m doing. I’m not in a relationship, yet there is someone I am passionate about. It isn’t who you believe.
Dr. Darrin Porcher, who had previously been associated with her, rejected to date her a few days after she made her announcement.
Wendy Williams never revealed to the public that she was dating Dr. Porcher. She allegedly had a relationship with the former police officer who is now a PhD scholar, according to several accounts. In spite of these allegations, it is still unknown if Wendy Williams’ assertions about her marriage are true.
Although Henry the mysterious man has not been addressed in the media, Wendy Williams may have alluded to him in a post from a year ago. Williams posted a photo of herself in a car with her alleged lover on social media in August 2021. It might have happened as she was celebrating the birthday of her son Kevin Hunter Jr. The photograph’s caption read:
“My son got everything he wanted out of his 21st birthday celebration on the yacht in #Miami! including my boyfriend. The article has now been taken down, though.
