Despite apparently condemning Hamas’ Oct. 7 attack on Israel, Chappelle, 50, criticised Israeli government officials for shutting off water as well as “other essentials” to Gaza.

A heckler yelled at Chappelle to “shut up” when he stated that students shouldn’t have to forfeit job opportunities simply because they support Palestine. According to the site, supporters began to leave the stadium when tensions escalated, with some cheering for “Free Palestine,” while others yelled, “What about Hamas?” Interestingly, even though the Thursday event was one of his planned tour stops, a spokesman for Chappelle informed WSJ that he “refutes being in Boston” that night. The comedian’s comments came amid a violent confrontation involving Israelis & Hamas terrorists in Gaza.
