D.L. Hughley is ‘done dealing’ with Mo’Nique after their public feud

D.L. Hughley is no longer associating himself with Mo’Nique following their month-long internet feud.

D.L. Hughley is no longer acknowledging Mo’Nique
D.L. Hughley was recently spotted at Los Angeles Airport on Wednesday where TMZ asked him about the beef between him and Mo’Nique.
The comedian responded by saying he will no longer address the rift between them.
He said, ‘You only get so many breaths in your life and I refuse to use one more on somebody like that.’
Hughley further not so coyly denied knowing Mo’Nique.
He added, ‘I don’t even know who you talking about. I don’t even know who it is.’
Earlier this month, Mo’Nique attempted to be nice after apologizing for the comments she made referring to an alleged sexual assault on Hughley’s daughter.
The 54-year-old comedian mentioned, ‘I want to publicly apologize to his wife and his babies. If I hurt their feelings because that was never my intention. I never meant to hurt their feelings.’
Hughley however denied hearing the last week’s apology.
The 59-year-old actor claimed at LAX, ‘I haven’t heard anything, I don’t listen to that – not at all.’
He continued that he h as ‘no words or breath for somebody like that,’ and he draws the line at attacks on his family.
Hughley flew back to Los Angeles after attending a comedy benefit show for those affected by the Buffalo shooting.
He pointed out, ‘I can tell you this: I work, my family’s intact, I just came from doing a benefit for the people that are affected by the tragedy in Buffalo. I go home and see my granddaughter.’

D.L. Hughley and Mo’Nique’s rift started over who was supposed to be the headliner at the Fox Theater concert held in Detroit on 28th May.
Mo’Nique claimed that she initially singed to perform as the headline act at the show. She further accused Hughley that threatened not to act if he had to go on before her.
She added, ‘I’m 30-plus years in this motherf***ing business and I don’t open for no goddamn body. The contract said “the headliner.”‘
Mo’Nique continued, ‘D.L. Hughley turned into a b**** and said, “I won’t perform if she does that. I won’t go out if she does that.” So when I leave this motherf***er, the headliner has left.’
