According to court filings, Cher apparently hired four men to kidnap her troublesome son, Elijah Blue Allman. Marie Angela King, Allman’s former wife, made the complaint as part of their ongoing divorce proceedings. Cher’s son was the first to petition for divorce; nonetheless, Allman, 47, & King cited different dates of breakup in court filings. He stated they broke up in 2020, whereas she claimed they didn’t till the next year. They attempted reconciliation 10 months ago. According to the documents obtained by Yahoo Entertainment, King and Allman were in New York for their anniversary on Nov. 30 when four “individuals came to our hotel room immediately removed” him. Before the event, King & Allman had spent 12 days together, according to King.

“I am presently unaware of my husband’s well-being or whereabouts,” she stated in court records dated December 5, 2022. “I am incredibly concerned as well as anxious about him.” One of the four men who abducted him said they were employed by [Allman’s] mother. Since August 2022, I have been advised that I am not permitted to contact or speak with Petitioner, who is currently in isolation at an unidentified treatment centre. I’m also told [Allman] doesn’t have access to his phone.” Allman, the son of 77-year-old Cher and rocker Gregg Allman, has battled substance abuse. Although the records were filed nine months ago, they were just recently discovered as part of the estranged couple’s divorce proceedings. The next court appearance is set for October 27 in Los Angeles.

Cher Has Been Accused Of Employing Four Men To Kidnap His Son, Elijah Blue Allman, According To His Estranged Wife

According to newly released court records, Cher has been accused of employing four men to kidnap her son Elijah Blue Allman in late 2022. The charge was made in records obtained by PEOPLE that were submitted on December 5, 2022, by Allman’s wife Marie King — from whom he filed for divorce in 2021 — and are now receiving attention as part of their continuing divorce procedures. King, 36, claims that the superstar, 77, paid four men to kidnap her son, 47, from their New York hotel room on Nov. 30, 2022 (their wedding anniversary) because they were attempting to “reconcile” their marriage and she was afraid for her son’s safety. King, popularly known as Queenie, stated that they had spent “12 days alone together between November 18-November 30, in New York, focusing on [their] marriage” at the time of the event. She further stated that “one of the four men who took [Allman]” told her that the Grammy winner employed them, according to the records.

“I am absolutely unaware of my spouse’s location or well-being.” “I am extremely concerned & worried about him,” King remarked at the time, according to the records. The performer went on to say, “I understand his family’s attempts to make sure he is well, and I also want what is best for my husband.” In the same filings, King alleged that her mother-in-law requested her to leave her house with Allman without recovering her possessions when he travelled to obtain medical care at an unknown facility in August 2022. Cher welcomed her second and youngest son, Allman, on July 10, 1976, with the late Greg Allman of The Allman Brothers Band. The Oscar winner as well as the rock star married in 1975 and separated in 1979, with Allman estranged from his son until their reunion prior to his death in 2017. Both the “Believe” singer and her son, who moved on to become a musician, have talked out about their tumultuous relationship and times of estrangement over the years.
