YouTuber LaTasha Kebe, also known as Tasha K, has been found guilty of libel against Cardi B.

According to court documents obtained by People, the “I Like It” rapper was awarded $1.25 million from a federal jury. The jury found him liable for libel, invasion of privacy, and intentional infliction of emotional distress.

A two-week trial that included testimony from both women concluded with the verdict. An agent for Cardi B did not respond to requests for comment.

According to Cardi’s March 2019 lawsuit, Kebe made “malicious” accusations against her, such as claiming that the rapper was a prostitute, cheated on her husband, used cocaine, and contracted herpes and HPV.

Cardi B Alleged The “Degrading And Harassing”

Grammy winner Kebe also made false claims about her career with the intention of “destroying” her career. Kebe claimed that Cardi’s pregnancy with Kulture, 3, could result in a child born with special needs. She shared this on her YouTube channel UnWinewithTashaK approximately six months ago. Cardi B alleges started the “degrading and harassing” remarks.

According to Cardi’s testimony on Jan. 13, she became “extremely suicidal” over Kebe’s alleged false allegations about her.

According to Billboard, Cardi B said in court that she felt extremely suicidal and helpless. She said that she felt defeated and depressed and didn’t want to sleep with her husband.

According to Billboard, Kebe spread the rumor to her nearly 1 million YouTube subscribers. The Hustlers star suffered fatigue, weight loss, migraines, and anxiety.

Her lawsuit alleges that Cardi B “began publicly trashing” her on the internet, leading to Kebe allegedly being threatened. And asserted that she has denied any wrongdoing and attempted to sue the rapper for assault and intentional infliction.

The allegations against Kebe were dismissed by Judge William M. Ray II in July, according to Rolling Stone.
