Cardi B Claps Back: Responds to Accusations of Flow Theft from Nicki Minaj

In her most recent song, Cardi B defends herself against accusations that she stole Nicki Minaj’s flow. Cardi B is sick of having been accused of stealing Nicki Minaj’s flow from her 2020 6ix9ine collaboration “Trollz” on the new Offset tune “Freaky.” Some followers on social media pointed out that not only her flow but also her linguistic pattern appeared to be lifted from a Nicki Minaj song. In response to her critics, she provided a receipt on Friday (Oct. 13). Cardi liked a tweet on X, formerly referred to as Twitter, pointing to the fact that the flow she employs on the ‘Set track is a simple rap flow that Cardi also employed on the Fat Joe, Dre, as well as Anuel AA collab “Yes” in 2019.

Cardi B added her viewpoints in the comments part of a blog post regarding the subject. Cardi B intends to release her sophomore album in the coming months, after Offset. Cardi B is preparing to release her untitled second album in early 2024, following the release of her latest track “Bongos” alongside Megan Thee Stallion just last month. Offset also hosted Cardi B a birthday party earlier this week. Unexpectedly, he went all out for his love, and she documented his romantic actions on Instagram. They praised the couple in the remarks for how trouble-free their relationship has been in the past few years.

Cardi B Comments On Accusations That She Stole Nicki Minaj’s Flow

Offset’s much-anticipated new album titled Set It Off was released overnight. Cardi B, his wife, makes two cameo appearances on the project and is, naturally, a big lover of the album. Before the album dropped, she labelled it Grammy material & said she’d watch Offset pour his whole self into it. Cardi B delivers her first appearance on the album’s sixth tune, “FREAKY,” which sparks some controversy. Some enthusiasts on social media brought out that not only her flow but also her linguistic pattern seemed to be lifted from a Nicki Minaj song. Cardi B obviously saw the remarks since she liked a tweet disputing the charges the next day. But this morning, when the news had spread even more, she issued a firm statement about it. “Meanwhile, I was just chilling and minding my own business. People love to attach my name to nonsense in hopes of making it a trend, but when I react, it’s like I caused the issue.”

Yes, I’m going to cleanse my name each and every time. “Leave me alone if you have a problem with it. AHHHH HAAAA” she replied. Offset celebrated Cardi B’s birthday earlier this week. Interestingly, he went out of his way for his love, and she captured his romantic gestures on Instagram. “Thank you for everything, @offsetyrn…”You are always going above and beyond for me,” she described the video, which wowed viewers. They praised the couple in the remarks for how trouble-free their relationship has turned out in recent years. Offset admitted to prior missteps between the two in interviews previously this year. He attributed most of his bad behaviour to the combination of immaturity and drugs. Cardi B intends to release her sophomore album within the coming months, after Offset.
