After the Astroworld disaster, Travis Scott gave almost 2,000 gifts to children in Houston. The gifts are being given by the 30-year-old as he and Kylie Jenner remain out of the spotlight.

Travis Scott as well as his Cactus Jack Foundation gave toys to much more than 2,000 children. From low-income households in Houston, according to a report released on Thursday.

The gifts will be spread across six Houston Housing Department buildings. All through the town, according to a source, and will arrive before Christmas Day.

The Instagram profile of the Cactus Jack Foundation similarly posted photographs encouraging a toy drive.

The description on the photo read: “The Cactus Jack Foundation’s Second Annual Toy Drive is currently active. Each kid will receive one toy, which they will get on a first-come, first-served basis.”

Another Instagram image depicted a long line of Houston residents waiting to acquire gifts from the tables.

Travis Scott Astroworld Incident

The toy drive apparently happened just weeks following Travis’ performance at the Astroworld event. It left ten people dead and hundreds injured.

At roughly 9.15 p.m., the audience started to “push at the front of the stage”. Causing chaos, as per Texas authorities.

Moments later, at 9:38 p.m., a “mass killing situation” was proclaim. Travis reportedly performed for more than 30 minutes well after disaster news, according to reports. Travis Scott went on Twitter a day after the incident in November to express his regret.

“I’m truly upset by what happened last night,” he said during a message posted to Twitter. “My thoughts and prayers are with the relatives of those who were affected by the Astroworld Festival tragedy.

“The Houston Police Department has my total cooperation as they investigate the terrible loss of human life. I am in complete cooperating with the Houston communities to assist families in need heal and be support.

“Thank you to the Houston Police Force, Fire Service, and NRG Stadium for their quick reaction and assistance. “I adore you all”. Travis Scott Immediately turn to Instagram, crying, and also said that he was “deeply hurt” by what had happened. “I never could picture something like this occurring,” Travis said again.
