BTS Teams Up With New Era For Merch 2022: Everything You Need To Know

BTS is all set to release a brand new merch collection by teaming up with New Era.

New Era, an American fashion brand is collaborating with K-pop idols BTS and BigHit Music to bring the Army a new merchandise collection this year.

The new collection is rumored to be based on BTS’ 2021 hit single, Butter. However, the label did not include much information about the upcoming collaboration. But from the teaser video, we can certainly expect a variety of BTS-themed baseball caps and jerseys.

New Era Korea shared the teaser clip for the awaited upcoming collab on their official Twitter account. It includes a 3D letter ‘B’ which switches its color from Butter yellow to the Major Baseball League color of red and blue.

As of now, neither BTS nor New Era has announced the release date of the latest collaboration.

This will not be the first time the Korean group is working together with the sportswear brand. Back in the summer of 2020, the septet had launched 17 items that were inspired by their 2020 hit release,ย Dynamite.

It was called Beyond The Scene.  The collection consisted of different summer clothing items such as hats, tees, and cross-body bags.

The merch was available in a variety of colors like pastel purple, and coral hues along with monotone black and white. They also included the band’s signature logo and Beyond The Scene tagline in the collection.

Every clothing item in the collaboration was created for both domestic as well as international fans. It consisted of the Korean band’s logo, the English rendition of BTS’ acronym- a part of their revamp, and the motto of Beyond the Scene.

About: New Era

The New Era Cap Company is a headwear organization situated in Buffalo in New York city. It was built in the year 1920. They are mostly known for being the exclusive baseball cap supplier of the Major League Baseball team. They have been supplying the caps since 1993.

The company is further recognized for its creative affiliations. They have previously worked with painters, fashion brands, musicians, and many others. Just last year in they teamed up with Japanese writer, Takashi Murakami.

Back in 2019, rapper Tyler, the Creator also collaborated with New Era to design a custom-made fedora for his Camp Flog Gnaw festival merch.
