Golnesa “GG” Gharachedaghi, known for her role on “Shahs of Sunset,” expressed her support for Andy Cohen, stating, “Leave Andy alone!” on an Instagram post by Page Six. Her sentiments were echoed by Chanel Ayan from “Real Housewives of Dubai,” who emphasized the need to refrain from baseless accusations.

Similarly, Guerdy Abraira, a star of “Real Housewives of Miami,” shared her positive encounters with Cohen, asserting that she had only experienced hospitality from him. Luann de Lesseps, an alum of “RHONY,” defended Cohen’s character, affirming that she had never witnessed any drug abuse during her time on the show. De Lesseps emphasized that Cohen would never coerce cast members into behavior they were uncomfortable with, including alcohol consumption.
Dorinda Medley, another former “RHONY” cast member, expressed sympathy for Andy Cohen and recounted her positive experiences working with him. Medley questioned McSweeney’s motivations for returning to the Bravo franchise if she had truly endured such negative experiences previously. Cynthia Bailey, from “Real Housewives of Atlanta,” voiced her disbelief in the allegations against Cohen, highlighting her trust in his character.
The outpouring of support for Andy Cohen comes in the wake of McSweeney’s lawsuit, which alleges drug use and professional misconduct within the Bravo network. McSweeney claims that Cohen engaged in drug use with “Housewives” cast members and offered preferential treatment in exchange for special favors. Additionally, she accuses the network of exploiting her alcohol dependency for ratings and fostering an environment tolerant of predatory behavior.
In response to the allegations, a representative for Cohen vehemently denied the claims, labeling them as “completely false.” Despite the controversy, Cohen remains undeterred in his professional commitments.
