Blueface Opens Up About Stabbing Incident During Boxing Workout, Halts Upcoming Fight Plans

Blueface, actual name Johnathan Jamall Porter, stated on Instagram that he was stabbed by an unknown attacker inside a Los Angeles boxing facility. The rapper announced on Instagram that he would not be able to fight on October 14th. “I was stabbed today by some stranger and won’t be able to heal in time.” Along with the statement, the rapper, most known for his song “Thotiana,” shared security camera footage of the events preceding the stabbing. The stabbing occurred in the 7000 block of Reseda Boulevard, according to the Los Angeles Police Department. The suspect was last seen going south on Reseda Boulevard.
The suspect was driving a black Tesla without licence plates. The suspect was wearing a white tank top, blue jeans, and white sneakers in the video. There was no weapon discovered at the scene, so deputies called for an ambulance to transport Blueface to the hospital. When the man entered the gym, the rapper seemed to be training for a boxing match. A passerby attempted to separate the two as they appeared to dispute. The altercation quickly escalated, with Blueface hitting the man multiple times. The alleged stabber retreated and pulled out what seemed to be a knife. On Oct. 14, the rapper was scheduled to box in an exhibition match against Tiktoker Salt Papi.

Blueface stated last week on social media that he will miss his next fight since he was stabbed during a boxing exercise. Blueface posted a video on his Instagram Story on Tuesday (Aug. 22) explaining why he won’t be heading to the boxing ring anytime soon. Blue appears to get into a furious argument with an unnamed man in a white tank top during a boxing practise in the clip while another man attempts to settle the situation. The California rhymester throws a couple of punches at the man in the tank top as soon as he steps away to cool off. After Blueface has stopped striking him, the man conceals something in his hand. The 26-year-old artist stated in the video that the enraged man stabbed him. In a comment on his Instagram page, Blueface said he would not be able to fight on Oct. 14. I was stabbed by a random individual today. Blueface later posted additional footage of what happened following the fight on his Instagram feed.
The video shows an unidentified man cautiously approaching Blue, who was practising boxing drills on a punching bag at the time. Blueface was rumoured to be fighting TikToker Salt Papi on October 14 in Manchester. On Tuesday, an ESNEWS representative posted an interview with Blueface at the Kaminsky Boxing Gym in Reseda, California, to the sports site’s YouTube page. At the 1:40 mark of the video, Blueface is talking about the counsel he got from boxing legend Floyd Mayweather, while Chrisean Rock, the mother of his soon-to-be-born kid, appears to be tending to Blueface’s purported knife wound. The rapper’s most recent incident occurred two months following he was arrested and detained in court for his suspected involvement in a heist in Las Vegas. His bail was set at $20,000, and his manager, Wack 100, announced on Instagram that his client had already been released and was spending time at a spa.
