In 2007, Martini joined “Better Homes and Gardens.” Since then, viewers of the show have quite liked her. However, the latest news about her in the context of “Better Homes and Gardens” may now shock her fans.

Karen Martini quits Better Homes and Gardens

Chef and “Better Homes and Gardens” star Karen Martini has decided to step back from her role on the Seven Network show after almost two decades. She recently announced her decision to quit the show. However, fans can still expect to see her making guest appearances on the show.

Martini went on to share why she decided to quit the show as a permanent cast member. She wants to focus on her family and the new restaurants she is involved with.

To 7News she said, “With my two new restaurants -Johnny’s Green Room already open and Saint George set to launch soon- as well as so many other projects on the go, 2024 is shaping up to be my busiest year ever”.

Regarding her family priority, she mentioned that her daughters, Stella (17) and Amber (15), are in their last teenage years. Hence, she wants to dedicate time to them as well. She stated, “With so much on my plate, I’ve made the decision to step back from Better Homes and Gardens this year while i focus on some of my other exciting projects”.

Not to forget, Martini has been enjoying a $300,000 salary. Before her departure, ‘Fast Ed’ Halmagyi left “Better Homes and Gardens” in 2023. In his place, we now have Colin Fassnidge joining the show. The departure of Martini has now left her fans shocked.
