As for the movie’s first half, the 38-year-old criticized it for being a waste of time and claimed that the writer deceived the audience. In addition, he complained about the “story” being poorly written online. In describing the movie’s depiction of Elon Musk and other wealthy industrialists, Ben Shapiro said Rian Johnson’s politics were just as lazy as his writing. The view he takes on the universe is that Elon Musk is a bad and stupid man and that anyone who likes him- whether in media, politics or tech- is being bribed.

The film is once again written and directed by Rian Johnson and follows the clever detective Benoit Blanc (Daniel Craig) as he solves yet another murder mystery. Miles Bron (Edward Norton) sends a puzzle box to his friends, which includes a politician (Kathryn Hahn), a cancelled model (Kate Hudson), her assistant (Jessica Henwick), a YouTuber who advocates for men’s rights (Dave Bautista), his girlfriend (Madelyn Cline), a scientist who works with Bron (Leslie Odom Jr.) and Bron’s former business partner (Janelle Monáe)—each of them a murder mystery game.
Which brings us to the final irony: Rian Johnson is being paid $100 million to make two of these movies. So his is a rich, famous person writing stupid mysteries pretending to be smart. HE IS MILES, not Blanc. That’s the dirty secret.
