Barbara Bush, Former First Daughter, Welcomes First Child with Husband Craig Coyne

The lively Bush family has gained a new grandchild! Barbara Pierce Bush, George and Laura Bush’s daughter, certainly welcomes her first child alongside her husband Craig Coyne. A daughter named Cora Georgia Coyne, on Monday, Sept. 27, according to the former president and first lady.

The Bushes released a statement saying. “With full hearts, Laura and I are glad to celebrate the arrival of our little granddaughter.”. Barbara, 39, is believed to have given birth to Cora Georgia Coyne in Maine.

We are happy and glad that Cora is indeed healthy and gorgeous. In an announcement, the Bushes stated. The young girl accompanies Barbara’s s ister Jenna Bush Hager’s 3 children. Son Hal, daughters Mila and Poppy, and several relatives. According to the Bushes’ announcement “Barbara and Craig were married not far from our family home and their daughter is born near there.

The pair, who were introduced by friends in 2017. Married in a private, family-only wedding at the Bush home on Walker’s Point the next October. Barbara classified it as “quite short” and “lovely wedding”. 

Barbara claimed another of the “reasons to be optimistic” of the COVID-19 epidemic was being able to remain with her family. At their Texas property in a recent conversation ahead of this year’s George H.W. Bush Points of Light Honors. 

“We expected it to be for a few weeks. We certainly weren’t expecting it to be for the better part of a year,” Barbara added. “But, of course, it’s something that we wouldn’t have had otherwise.”

“But there is something very beautiful to be with somebody every day,”. She added, “instead of when we typically are there with our families. Which is around the vacations or for such a short period of time.”

Barbara, a co-founder of the charity Global Health Corps. Says that she and her actor-screenwriter spouse decided to relocate to New York after departing Texas.

They met in Boston prior to the COVID-19 epidemic, when she was a grad student. She said in 2019 that the element she misses most about New York City was her family. Particularly her nieces and nephews.

“We were staying four streets away from Jenna before that,”. Barbara recalls at the time, continuing, “It was really lovely since I can see the people all the time.”

Hager, 39, told her sister the same year, “She’s very, really happy.”. “I believe this was enjoyable for them to move to Boston. As they’re somewhat discovering a new area altogether.”
