On Wednesday, Bam Margera was arrested after causing a disturbance at a restaurant where his ex-wife Nicole Boyd and their toddler Phoenix were dining. In an incident reported by TMZ, the “Jackass” star shouted at a woman inside a Thai restaurant in Burbank, California, at about 3:45 pm local time. Although Boyd and Phoenix were present at the restaurant when he allegedly yelled at the woman, it’s unclear whether the woman was his ex-wife. Boyd, 39, filed for divorce only a month before he was detained. Margera will either have to pay $500 bail or remain in custody until he sobers up, according to TMZ sources. Police, who arrived at the restaurant after Margera wasn’t able to take care of himself, reported that the 43-year-old was too drunk to care for himself.

Consequently, he was arrested and charged with felony public intoxication. He appears furious in videos posted on social media of Bam Margera at the restaurant. From outside, police watch Margera enter and exit the eatery. In an Instagram Live video, comedian Evan Breen, who was also at the venue, captured Margera, who was clearly upset, rushing into and out of the restaurant. An argument appears to be taking place between one of the responding cops and the stuntman, who had been removed from the restaurant by police.

In an altercation involving domestic violence, Margera allegedly kicked his current girlfriend during his detention earlier this month. Page Six reported that the 43-year-old was released from detention the following day after posting $50,000 bail. Margera’s claim of sobriety didn’t matter to Boyd; she had to make the “hard choice” to protect their son and themselves. In addition, she requested spousal support, legal custody, and child support for Phoenix. As a response, Margera got his son’s name tattooed above his eyebrow and flaunted it on Instagram. It has been difficult for the former skateboarder to deal with addiction and has run into legal issues numerous times in recent years. As well, he escaped three times from a court-ordered rehabilitation facility in 2022 before he was finally found in a pub a few days after he was transferred to an outpatient program. Page Six reports that Steve-O pleaded with pal Bam Margera to “choose recovery” amid his struggles with drugs and alcohol.
