Bad Bunny sparked gay rumors back in 2020 when he showed his support towards the LGBTQIA+ community when he was featured on the cover page of Rolling Stone.

The ‘Soy Peor’ hitmaker further opened up about his sexuality during an interview with the Los Angeles Times.

He said, ‘It does not define me,’ while saying that he views his sexuality as ‘fluid.’

He continued, ‘At the end of the day, I don’t know if in 20 years I will like a man. One never knows in life. But at the moment I am heterosexual and I like women.’

Additionally, he addressed his decision to include same-sex couples, transgender women, and people with disabilities in his music videos.

He mentioned, ‘There are people who listen to reggaeton and love it and at the same time they have never felt represented within it. In 20 or 30 years nobody had worried about that, but I did.’

Moreover, fans were left wondering about his sexuality when the singer made an appearance wearing a drag queen look in the music video for his song ‘Yo Perreo Sola’ (‘I Twerk Alone’).’

However, Bad Bunny clarified the reason behind his decision to go drag. He explained that he wanted to explore the part of him that was feminine.

He stated, ‘I did it to show support to those who need it. I may not be gay, but I’m a human.’

He added, ‘I always felt like there [was] a part of me that is very feminine. But I never felt as masculine as I did the day I dressed up like a drag queen.’

Ricky Martin on the other hand shared that Bad Bunny has turned into an ‘icon for the Latin queer community’ after he released the music video for his song.

Bad Bunny sparked romance rumors with Kendall Jenner four months ago in February after they were caught together in Beverly Hills.
