Well, there are already plenty of wrestlers who have been streaming on the platform Twitch. While now WWE has come up to have an agreement with Twitch this time making some changes.

WWE and Twitch gets into an agreement
WWE is a popular wrestling organization that’s popular and active on social media as well. However, for some years the organization has been keeping itself and its stars away from Twitch. Which finally seems to have got over.
It is confirmed through talent that WWE's Twitch cut is from the Twitch side, not the talent side. So the cut for the wrestlers will be the same as anyone else with a Twitch channel

As WWE gets into an agreement with Twitch. Yes, WWE has finally given its stars permission to stream on Twitch. A deal for the same has been made though. Yet some terms and conditions exist for that too. The claims of the same were however made via Fightful Select, a wrestling magazine.

With WWE and Twitch getting into an agreement where the wrestlers would be able to stream on Twitch. The WWE stars can can go on streaming however there are some criteria for income spl it for WWE. As they would be getting it from Twitch’s side.

According to them WWE execs negotiated for talent to get a larger cut than other creators on the platform.

Wrestlers won’t be allowed to stream alongside performers of other businesses without the approval of WWE. Bryan Alvarez on it tweeted “It is confirmed through the talent that WWE’s Twitch cut is from the Twitch side, not the talent side. So the cut for the wrestlers will be the same as anyone else with a Twitch channel”.
Why were WWE wrestlers not allowed to stream on Twitch before?
WWE is present on social media and even on Twitch but with a limited following for it. However, with its new agreement with Twitch, it seems the wrestling organization will expand even on Twitch soon. Meanwhile, previously WWE did prohibit its wrestlers from streaming on Twitch.
But that made them focus more on their professional work or wrestling. In fact, the CEO and Chairman of WWE had even referred to the streams of the wrestlers as “detrimental” to his business. While now things seem to be changing as now WWE approves of the wrestlers’ streaming on Twitch.
