The producer and composer of the classic hit Troop Beverly Hills, Ava Ostern Fries, has deceased. She was 87 years old at the time.
Fries died on October 2, according to her publicist. More information about her demise was not publicly accessible.
Her performance on the 1989 adventurous comic Troop Beverly Hills made her a household name as a writer and producer. Shelley Long and Tori Spelling feature throughout the movie. That follows a rich mother who volunteers to manage her daughter’s camping team. The film was inspired by Fries’ journey as that of the leader of her child’s Girl Scout unit. For its ideology, glamour, and choreography, the film went on to become a cultural touchstone. Fries worked upon that movie as a producer.

For more than two decades, Fries served as a member of directors of the Center Theater Group in L.a. Fries was also the chairman of the Center Theatre Group Members. And a co-founder of the American Film Academy Associate and The Film Festival Association. Her services to society as well as the arts were recognized by the National Association of Women.
