Audio clip containing an old conversation between Amber Heard and Johnny Depp surfaced online

During their ongoing defamation trial, an audio clip of Amber Heard and Johnny Depp having a private chat leaked on social media. According to reports, the tape led to speculation that Heard was planning to “frame” Depp following their divorce.

After studying the context of the conversation, Newsweek apparently obtained the whole unedited audio from the call and disproved claims that Heard was intended to frame Depp.

The audio tapes were recorded in 2015 and 2016. It was when Johnny Depp and Amber Heard were planning to split, according to the website.

According to reports, the recording includes “tense and emotional” dialogue exchanges between the former couple. They debated whether their divorce should be made public and whether legal action should be taken.

An examination of Amber Heard and Johnny Depp’s previous conversations

Since it began in Fairfax County court on April 11, 2022, the high-profile Johnny Depp vs. Amber Heard defamation trial has continued to create headlines.

Both performers have been heavily scrutinized on social media, with online sleuths delving into their past activities and interactions. User @thejdcase recently shared an old audio tape showing bits of a private chat between Depp and Heard.

Thousands of people watched the now-deleted audio. With numerous social media users alleging that it proved Heard’s claimed attempt to frame Depp. Amber Heard can be heard stating in the video:

“It’s outrageously cross-corroborated than it’s a plan [where] I’m going to put makeup on me and photograph me for years and just sit on it.”

The Aquaman star was also overheard saying: “The photographs I’ve paired with back-and-forth text messages to my mom about it”. “And text messages between Raquel and my mother or father, or between my two pals,” she says.

Heard can also be heard telling her representative Jodi Gottlieb that her James Corden appearance has to be canceled due to “marks on her face” later in the audio.

Johnny Depp also expressed his love for Heard and stated that he does not want to hurt her

The audio clip also included the controversial Amber Heard message in which she dubbed Johnny Depp a domestic violence victim:

“Tell everyone it was a fair battle and wait to hear what the jury and judge think, Johnny. Tell them that I, Johnny Depp, am a domestic abuse victim as well.”

The resurrected tape was part of a larger 31-minute recorded audio chat between Depp and Heard in May 2016 that was previously released by The Daily Mail, according to Newsweek.

YouTuber HatCHeTHaZ republished the clip on YouTube shortly after the audio was deleted from Instagram. When the Johnny Depp vs Amber Heard trial resumes on May 16, it remains to be seen if the dialogue will be brought up in court.
