Police detained Arab-Israeli actress Maisa Abd Elhadi for reportedly voicing backing for Hamas’ strike on Israel. She was arrested on charges of “incitement to terrorism” following a social media post, police as well as her lawyer said Tuesday. Maisa Abd Elhadi, An Arab-Israeli Actor, Was Detained For Supporting Terrorism After A Social Media Remark Regarding Gaza

Maisa Abd Elhadi, who resides in the northern Israeli city of Nazareth, was taken into custody on Monday & detained until Thursday, according to police. She is one of the increasing number of Arab Israelis imprisoned for posting about the catastrophic battle on social media. Elhadi allegedly tweeted a photograph showing a bulldozer breaking the Gaza-Israel border fence during the October 7 onslaught by the Islamist militant group called Hamas, which Israel claims killed over 1,400 people.
