On the exact same day that Warner Bros. released the trailer for its $215 million Aquaman 2, humiliating records from the Johnny Depp-Amber Heard defamation case appeared on Reddit, causing the company behind the film a fresh headache. Fans of Depp funded the court expenses to obtain records from Heard’s therapist, Dr. Dawn Hughes. The handwritten notes on a legal pad were a component of Depp’s high-profile case last year, where he mainly prevailed. They recount a nasty “Aquaman” set in which an apparently inebriated Jason Momoa disguised as Johnny Depp and attempted to get Heard fired from the part of Mera, the aquatic superhero. “Jason stated that he intended me fired,” based on the notes. “Jason was drinking & showed up late on set.” Dressed up like Johnny.

Has all of the rings.” A Momoa representative declined to provide further information but a DC spokesman disputed Heard’s claim, saying, “Jason Momoa handled himself in a professional way at all moments on the set of ‘Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom.'” That sentiment was shared by others. “Jason busts his ass, likes to enjoy a beer once in a while like everyone else, but he never shows up intoxicated to set,” an insider who worked on the London location in 2021 said, adding that the two actors got along & were spotted joking together. “He’s also not dressed like Johnny Depp. He’s usually dressed in a boho fashion.”

‘Aquaman 2’ Drama: Jason Momoa Apparently Drunk On Set, Amber Heard Parts Cut, Elon Musk’s Letter To Warner Bros

Elon Musk apparently defended Amber Heard amid reports that his former co-star will be dismissed from Aquaman 2. According to a new Variety claim, Elon Musk, the Tesla and X (previously known as Twitter) founder, has pressured Warner Bros. to retain Heard featured as Mera in DC’s long-delayed “Aquaman” sequel. As reported by Variety, Warner Bros. & “Aquaman” director James Wan informed Heard’s lawyer Karl Austen following the film’s 2018 release that Heard will be cut from the sequel due to an absence of chemistry with actor Jason Momoa. According to Variety, Warner Bros. opted not to dismiss Heard following her ex-boyfriend Musk & his attorney delivered a “scorched-earth letter to Warner Bros. that threatened to burn the house down” if Heard did not return for the sequel. Rumors that Heard will be sacked from the “Aquaman” franchise emerged during the defamation trial between Heard & her former spouse Johnny Depp, which was filed in 2019 and would be broadcast in 2022. Heard said Depp orchestrated a public relations “smear campaign” against her, ending in a “very pared-down rendition” of her intended “Aquaman 2” role.

I struggled for the position as well as the most significant movie possibility I’d ever gotten [with] ‘Justice League,’ with having the opportunity to [star in] ‘Aquaman.'” “I was trying incredibly hard to keep working in ‘Justice League’ considering it was during the divorce,” he said. “I was provided with a script [for ‘Aquaman 2’] accompanied by new versions of the script that had deprived away the action scenes that represented the character I played and a different character, both of them tackling with one another, without giving any details out, therefore they simply cut several scenes out of my role. According to reports, Heard appears for only ten minutes in the sequel. Wan previously told Entertainment Weekly that the sequel was never intended to centre on Heard’s character. During the trial, court papers revealed notes from Heard’s therapy sessions, something Depp admirers subsequently paid to see and distribute online. Heard said in therapy that her “Aquaman” co-star Jason Momoa intoxicated tormented her at work, including disguising up as Johnny Depp.
