Amy Schumer has got a death threat after she ended up joking about Kirsten Dunst as a “seat filler” at the Oscars. Well, the Oscars literally proved not so pleasant for celebrities who came up with a joke. Certainly, as we noticed earlier, Chris Rock and Will Smith had a similar incident at the Oscars when the latter slapped the former over a joke. But why is Amy Schumer getting death threats?

As we had Will Smith getting angry over a joke on his wife by Chris Rock. The Men In Black actor just left everyone shocked when he slapped Rock on stage at the Oscars.

Similar was with Amy Schumer as well. Schumer ended up joking about Kirsten Dunst at the Oscars this year. Calling her a seat filler for the event. However, it wasn’t Dunst who got hurt with it. But it seems Amy Schumer is still in trouble with the joke she made on Dunst.

It was while Schumer was on The Howard Stern Show that she revealed that after her seat filler joke on Kirsten Dunst. She received death threats. She recalled it was really bad for her and that even the Secret Service had to reach out to her.

Adding more to that situation, Schumer revealed that she even got contacted by the Los Angeles Police Department. As the threats and numbers, she was contacted with were serious and more in number. Though she has certainly not made Kirsten Dunst hurt with her joke.

Schumer revealed the “Seat filler” joke was orchestrated

Well, unlike the Chris Rock and Will Smith joke that ended up shocking everyone. Schumer has revealed on the show that her joke on Kirsten Dunst was completely “orchestrated”. She said that she discussed the whole seat filler joke to Kirsten Dunst and her husband.

Further, she added that both Kirsten and her husband were in for the joke. Though, her joke on Dunst actually received criticism on social media as well. However, recalling her experience of Will Smith slapping Chris Rock. She said Rock is one of her best friends and that the incident with him at the Oscars was actually a traumatizing one.
