The controversial Amber Heard vs Johnny Depp defamation trial resumed on Monday after a weeklong hiatus.
Heard’s legal team brought in entertainment industry expert Kathryn Arnold in the recent trial.
Arnold made some huge claims as she took the stand in favor of the actress. She further compared Heard’s professional career with some of the major stars in Hollywood, which caused outrage on the internet.

Kathryn Arnold testified that Amber Heard’s career in Hollywood is ruined after speculations came forward that she might have faked domestic violence.
Arnold mentioned that the makers liked Heard’s work however ‘they can’t work with her right now’.
She further opened up about the damages Heard faced in terms of finances. Moreover, the expert compared Heard’s earnings to other actors such as Jason Momoa, Gal Gadot, Zendaya, Chris Pine, as well as Ana de Armas.

Netizens were not happy with Arnold’s testimony. They took to Twitter to slam her.

While talking about Heard’s potential rise in the industry, Arnold hinted at Heard’s work in Blade Runner 2049. Regardless, during her cross-examination, Arnold was brutally grilled by Johnny Depp’s lawyer Wayne Dennison.

Johnny Depp’s lawyer, Wayne Dennison attacks Kathryn Arnold for being unknowing of Amber Heard’s work
Firstly Wayne Dennison quizzed her about the actors Arnold had previously compared to Heard. During the cross-examination, it was observed that Arnold was unaware of Heard’s Aquaman co-star Patrick Wilson.
Secondly, it came to notice that she also did not know about Heard’s role in Blade Runner 2049. The Aquaman actress appeared for only one shot in the film where she was positioned on a billboard.
During her cross-examination, Dennison asked Arnold whether she had watched Blade Runner 2049.
The entertainment industry expert said she did.
Dennison further questioned the role Heard played in Blade Runner 2049.
Arnold replied, ‘It was years ago. I don’t remember exactly what role she played but she was in that movie and from that her agency should have leveraged that to get her more movies.’
Dennison enlightened Arnold as he pointed out, ‘You have no knowledge that her principal role in that movie is a gigantic naked billboard?’
Arnold responded by maintaining that she did not remember Heard’s specific role in Blade Runner 2049.
