Smith thought her back pain was herniated disk previously. However, she didn’t expect what the diagnosis would reveal. The back pain had been there for over a month. Post which she had to get an MRI exam and a CT scan done. Then she was taken to Cedar Sinai Hospital for further treatment. She even posted her pic from the hospital updating her fans about her health.

Amanza Smith’s back pain turns out to be a rare spine infection

After the examination of Amanza Smith’s back pain, it was found that she has been suffering from a blood infection. The infection diagnosed had spread in her spine of her called Osteomyelitis. Although she even had to undergo surgery for the same.

Amanza went on to share pics from the hospital on her social media. Her post shared how she has been there in the hospital for 10 days seeking treatment. As she had to undergo surgery as well for the Osteomyelitis diagnosis.

However, in this difficult time for Amanza, she has been getting a lot of support from her fans and others.

The fans of Amanza Smith have been worried for the well-being of the actress after coming across her post of her. They have wished a speedy recovery to the actress on social media. The Oppenheim Group too wished Amanza a speedy recovery.

Brett and Jason Oppenheim visited the hospital to see Amanza. Kayla Cardona commented, “You’re so strong Mama, sending you so much love”. Fellow star of Selling Sunset Nicole Young wrote “Strongest woman i know! I love you and yes, this too shall pass. I cannot wait to see NOT in excruciating pain”.
