Alissa Violet Shades Erika Costell on BFFS Podcast: Their Dispute Reignites

Alissa Violet recently appeared on the BFFs show and slammed Erika Costell, her former bestie. The models, who have both dated Jake Paul in the past, have been at odds for years and it doesn’t appear that their animosity will finish or calm down anytime soon.
While the two have been relatively quiet this year, Alissa’s recent jab at her old best friend may have revived the feud.
On the bffs podcast, what did Alissa Violet say about Erika Costell?
During a recent episode of the BFFs podcast, Alissa joined Dave Portnoy, Josh Richards, and Brianna LaPaglia via video. During the show’s Flop or Not segment, the hosts displayed a photo of Erika to see what the model thought of her. “I don’t know who that is,” Alissa joked.
The model sought to avoid speaking about the former Team 10 employee entirely with the comment, implying that the two are still on bad terms.
On the show, no further remarks about Erika were made. Alissa’s statements, on the other hand, appear to have rubbed her former best friend the wrong way.
How did Erika respond to it?
Erika responded to the statement by posting a video of Alissa from April 2021 on her Instagram stories. In the video, the model is shown wearing Akire Sport, Erika’s sportswear line.
Erika was plainly interrogating Alissa about her recent claim of not knowing her.
Alissa refused to give up. She used Twitter to cast additional shade at her former bestie while also expressing her present mood. “Are you clinging on to things you’ve outgrown?” the model, 25, tweeted.
A view of the models’ beef through the years
During Team 10’s early days,
Jake Paul was associated with Alissa. The model alleged that Jake was “mentally and emotionally” abusive to her after the pair split up in 2017.
While Jake was still dating Alissa, Erika worked as his assistant, and the two became friends.
Alissa said after their breakup that Jake and Erika were dating while she was still dating the YouTuber.
Jake rekindled his relationship with Erika, his former assistant, nearly immediately following his public separation with Alissa. The couple’s relationship, however, did not endure long, as they split up in 2018.
Despite the fact that Jake and Erika parted ways, Alissa appears to be unhappy with the situation. The model compared the Akire Sports founder’s career to that of a “cockroach” in 2018.
“Damn Satan, who wounded you?” Erika tweeted in response to the statement.
