Cassie’s husband, Alex Fine, has broken his silence following the release of a disturbing video from 2016 showing Diddy physically assaulting Cassie. On Friday afternoon, May 17, Alex Fine took to Instagram to share an open letter addressed to women and children, explicitly condemning men who commit or enable acts of violence against women.

In his poignant letter, Alex Fine started with a powerful statement: “Men who hit women aren’t men. Men who enable it and protect those people aren’t men.” He urged men to take responsibility for preventing violence against women and to hold their peers accountable. He emphasized the need for men to protect and respect the women in their lives, stating, “Our daughters, sisters, mothers, and wives should feel protected and loved. Hold the women in your life with the utmost regard. Men who hurt women hate women.”

Fine’s letter continued with a message of support for survivors of abuse. “To all the survivors, find the men and women who help and love. To all the survivors, your stories are real, and people believe you. To all the survivors you’re not alone, and there are men and women who care only for your well-being and safety. We want you to succeed and flourish.” He expressed sorrow for the lack of protection and equality women and children face, expressing his hope for a safer and more loving world for future generations.

The letter concluded with a strong warning to abusers: “To the abusers, you’re done, you’re not safe anymore, you’re not protected anymore, the men by your side are just as weak, you’re so miserable with yourself that death would be considered a kindness.” Fine’s Instagram post was captioned with a call to action, urging those in need to seek help from the domestic violence hotline.

Earlier that day, CNN released harrowing footage from 2016 that showed Diddy violently attacking Cassie at a Los Angeles hotel. The surveillance video, timestamped from March 5, 2016, captured Cassie walking down a hallway with two bags when Diddy, clad only in a towel, appeared and attacked her. The footage shows Diddy grabbing Cassie by the neck, throwing her to the ground, kicking her multiple times, and dragging her by her shirt near the hotel elevator.

This video aligns with the allegations Cassie made in a lawsuit filed against Diddy last November, in which she accused him of physical assault, rape, and other abuses. The lawsuit was settled the day after it was filed, but neither Diddy nor Cassie have publicly commented on the newly released video.

Alex Fine’s public condemnation and support for survivors resonate deeply in the wake of such disturbing revelations. His call for accountability and protection for women and children is a crucial reminder of the ongoing struggle against domestic violence and the importance of standing with survivors.
