Alec Baldwin Lashed Out After Receiving Hate For A “sexually Suggestive” Instagram Caption
3 min readAlec Baldwin, 64, was not pleased with criticism for a caption he included beneath a photo of his wife and son that many considered “sexually suggestive.” The US is a country fueled by hate, he wrote in response to a commenter. In the caption, he titled the image of Hilaria Baldwin, 39, getting a back rub from six-year-old Leonardo ‘The old ‘let me give you a back rub’ ploy, which caused outrage online. One critic complained that it was a disgusting word choice to use on a photo of your son and his mother. The word choice was called disgusting by another.
Sexualizing children is weird enough, but your own? Yikes, another dissenter joined in. In response to the negative comments, the “30 Rock” star added, “Potato chips to follow,” explaining that I adjusted the text accordingly. The reason may be because…you know…there is so much Reddit trash out there. Over the years, Hilaria and Alec have both been the subject of internet conspiracies, including the assertion that she wears fake baby bumps while pregnant – who is accused of faking a Spanish accent. The “psycho” rumour has been denied vehemently by her. In recent years, however, the longtime couple, who have seven children, have had to deal with bigger problems.
In response to backlash over his ‘sexually suggestive’ photo caption, Alec Baldwin lashes out
In response to Instagram users who claimed his caption was sexually suggestive to a picture of his wife and son, Baldwin clapped back. On Sunday, January 22, Baldwin posted a photo of Hilaria Baldwin, 39, getting a back rub from Leonardo, 6, the couple’s 6-year-old son. Alec Baldwin wrote, The old ploy of giving you a back rub. The idea of sexualizing a child is weird enough, but your own? Yikes, one commenter remarked, and Baldwin’s caption was called disgusting by another. That’s a pretty f-king weird comment to make on a photo of your son and his mother, one person shared. According to Alec Baldwin, the U.S. is a hate-fueled country while he was responding to a fan. Despite a fan’s suggestion that Leo might have been bribing his mother to stay up later or eat an extra snack, she said, The problem is when people have their minds on anything but the present moment. Following his original back rub post, the 30 Rock alum edited his caption to read, Potato chips to follow. As Baldwin mentioned in the comments, I have adjusted the text accordingly. The reason is, you know, there are so many Reddit posts that are garbage.
The actor Alec Baldwin posted on Instagram for the first time since news broke that he would be charged with two counts of involuntary manslaughter after fatally shooting cinematographer Halyna Hutchins on the set of Rust in 2021. During her announcement of the decision, Santa Fe district attorney, Mary Carmack-Altwies, cited Baldwin and the movie’s armorer, Hannah Gutierrez-Reed, as violating all of the standards we must follow if we have a gun in our hands. According to Carmack-Altwies, the incident involved Baldwin firing a prop gun that contained a live round during a scene set-up, when he maintained that he did not pull the trigger of the gun. The people involved were acting recklessly, not doing their jobs, not following safety protocols, and not following safety standards. Due to that, I would consider this to be a criminal accident rather than an accident. It is not necessarily the goal to go to prison. Carmack-Altwies added that he wants justice for Halyna Hutchins and accountability for what his actions and inactions led to, which was the death of Halyna Hutchins. In a statement to NPR, Baldwin’s attorney Luke Nikas described the decision of the prosecutors as “a terrible miscarriage of justice” and added that Baldwin relied on the professionals with whom he worked to assure him the gun was not loaded with live rounds. The charges will be fought, and we will win.”, Nikas concluded.
