In a surprising development, popular Kick streamer Adin Ross has expressed a strong interest in joining FaZe Clan. During a recent livestream on July 24, 2024, Ross shared that he had an extensive conversation with FaZe Clan’s CEO, FaZe Banks, and claimed that Banks is supportive of both him and fellow streamer Cuffem signing with the renowned esports organization.

Adin Ross, who made his return to streaming on July 23 after a significant hiatus, has been vocal about his intentions to revamp his image. The streamer, who had previously faced controversy and an indefinite ban from Twitch for “hateful conduct” in February 2023, is looking to leave his past behind and embark on a fresh journey. In his comeback stream, Ross hinted at his desire to join FaZe Clan and later confirmed his discussion with Banks.

“Had a long talk with Banks today. He said he is down to have Cuffem join and sh*t. He said absolutely not to Cheesur, so chat, Cheesur will be getting left in the dust. What’s your reaction to that? Oh, seeing some Ws,” Adin Ross stated during his livestream.

This move aligns with Ross’s ongoing efforts to clean up his brand and distance himself from the toxicity that has plagued his career. Reflecting on his past actions, Ross acknowledged his need for a change and expressed admiration for FaZe Clan and its members.

“These FaZe motherfkers are going too crazy, I want to do the same sht bro. I want to come and fk with Banks. I have been talking to Banks all the time, I love Banks. W Banks bro, what he has done with FaZe and shoutout to everyone in FaZe doing their thing. I am inspired by you guys bro, real sht,” Ross said during his stream.

Ross also addressed his desire to move past the toxic elements associated with his previous group, SSB. He emphasized his goal to separate himself from negative influences and focus on creating a more positive environment.

“I know people are talking about SSB and sht, listen. I already had a conversation with a lot of them. Cuffem, Konvy, Shnaggy. I’ve not really been talking to Cheesur about what I am on, but I don’t really want to be on that toxic sht bro, I am moving past that. It’s cool to sit and play games with boys and talk sh*t, that’s different than like, I am meant to be somewhere completely different,” he explained.

Ross further elaborated on his vision of a less toxic community, imagining a scenario where he never embraced an edgy and controversial persona. He praised FaZe Clan’s achievements and expressed his eagerness to collaborate with them.

“Could you imagine if I never went down that edgy and toxic road? Where this community would be? It would be the craziest sht of all time. These FaZe motherfkers have been going too crazy, and I just see sht and I am like, ‘Damn!’ If I get unbanned I can go fk with them for a little while,” Adin Ross said.

It is worth noting that FaZe Clan underwent significant restructuring of its streaming and content team earlier this year. Despite Adin Ross’ claims, there has been no official confirmation from FaZe Clan regarding the potential addition of Adin Ross and Cuffem to their roster. The esports community eagerly awaits any further developments on this front, with many speculating on the potential impact of such high-profile signings.
