Aaron Carter fans outraged for snubbing in the Memoriam segment of Grammys 2023

Aaron Carter, who passed away on 5th November, was noticeably left off in the Memoriam segment of the 65th Grammy Awards.

Aaron Carter was not included in the 2023 Grammys in memoriam tribute
Multiple artists including Sheryl Crowe, Bonnie Raitt, Quavo, and more paid emotional tribute at Grammys 2023.
For the unversed, the segment is organized to remember the late artists of the music community that passed away last year.
Moreover, images of celebrities such as Lisa Marie Presley, Stephen ‘tWitch’ Boss, and Oliva Newton-John were flashed across the screen.
However, the picture of Aaron Carter was noticeably absent which led to fans calling out the Recording Academy for not honoring his death.
A representative for Carter’s brother and Backstreet Boys singer Nick Carter wrote in an email to New York Post that the Grammys snub was ‘so sad.’
If you didn’t know, Carter was found dead in a bathtub at his California home last November. He was only 34 years old.
Meanwhile, Carter’s family reportedly suspects that Carter died due to a drug overdose. But they are still waiting for the toxicology report which might confirm their suspicion.
Although his cause of death remains unclear as of now, Carter’s body was found alongside multiple cans of compressed air and prescription pill bottles.
Besides that, Carter had a history of struggling with addiction for most of his life after he came into the spotlight at the age of only seven.

Fans of Aaron Carter were beside themselves after seeing that his legacy was not honored at the 2023 Grammys.
Many fans took to Twitter to share their disappointment and anger towards the event for not including the late pop singer.
A fan wrote, ‘Since the Grammys chose not to include Aaron Carter’s picture while tributing the passed away singers. I’ll just post my own mini-tribute because that’s so sad. Rest In Peace Aaron Carter.’
Another fan added, ‘Okay but the #Grammys leaving #Aaroncarter out of the tribute has me pissed! wtf!?!’
Someone else chimed in to say, ‘Why the heck wasn’t Aaron carter included in the Memoriam part of the #GRAMMYs ??? That was cold.’
A different user shared, ‘They really snubbed Aaron Carter during the death tributes at the Grammys. Just wow. Not impressed.’
Moreover, another netizen pointed out, ‘Hey #GRAMMYs, f**k you for not including Aaron Carter in the memorium!!! That’s f**king disrespectful.’
