Ubisoft Connect Experiencing Outage: Users Frustrated by ‘Service Unavailable’ Error.
On Tuesday, numerous gamers encountered issues with Ubisoft Connect, the digital distribution and management platform for Ubisoft games. Reports of server outages quickly spread across social media, leaving many unable to log in and play their favorite titles. The problem was widely noted on Downdetector, a website that tracks service disruptions through user reports, which showed a significant spike in complaints about Ubisoft Connect being down.
As the outage unfolded, frustrated users took to various social media platforms to express their discontent. The surge in Downdetector reports peaked with at least 11 notable mentions of the issue, although the number of complaints began to decrease as time went on.

Gamers on X (formerly Twitter) voiced their irritation, sharing their experiences and seeking confirmation from others facing similar problems. One user tweeted, “Ubisoft servers are down apparently. Not allowing me to login on PC. Anyone else experiencing this?” This sentiment was echoed by many, highlighting the widespread nature of the outage.
Another user expressed their frustration more humorously, albeit with evident annoyance: “Holy crap. I am infuriated as heck. I am upset because the Ubisoft servers are down for the one thousandth time in the past week. I will be getting a shark as a lawyer, because I will be suing.” This exaggeration underscores the recurrent nature of the issues some users feel they have faced.
The reliability of Ubisoft Connect has been a point of contention for some time, with several users complaining about frequent downtimes. One user lamented, “I never play @Ubisoft games cuz whenever I want to, literally every time I want to play, the Ubisoft Connect service is down. EVERY… SINGLE… TIME… @UbisoftSupport What in the hell is going on in there? There’s a ton of us out here who are capable that can fix these issues.”

Specific game titles were also mentioned in the complaints. A player trying to enjoy The Crew Motorfest and The Crew 2 posted, “Hi Ubisoft, are the servers of The Crew Motorfest and The Crew 2 down? Because when I tried to play them, I see this,” accompanied by a screenshot of the error message they encountered.
Despite the surge in complaints, Ubisoft has yet to release an official statement addressing the cause of the outage or providing a timeline for resolution. The lack of communication has only added to the frustration of players eager to get back to their games.
