Godfall, a former PlayStation exclusive, is heading to Xbox, with a release date scheduled for the first week of April. The game joins a long list of other games that were only available on one platform for a long period before being released on others. Hopefully, with a new adventure, the developers will be able to attract a new set of gamers. There are a lot of new items on offer to make things more interesting for the players.
Counterplay Games created the action RPG, which is released by Gearbox. While the game has shown early promise, its overall performance has been disappointing. Certain components of the game, such as the story, fell short of the expectations of the players.
The admission to Xbox will provide the creators with a chance to see the benefits of their enhancements. Players will also be able to purchase the game’s Ultimate Edition.

With the release of the Ultimate Edition on April 7, Counterplay Games hopes to put that to rest. Surprisingly, the game will be available on both Xbox console generations. Everything is included in the Ultimate Edition, which costs $39.99. In addition, as part of the Xbox launch price, there will be an additional $10 discount.
The Ultimate Edition’s Features
The game’s initial reception was mixed, therefore the makers have subsequently added some more features, all of which will be available to users. Players will receive the following items as part of the Ultimate Edition:
- Fire & Darkness expansion for Godfall basic game
2. Primal, Lightbringer, and Exalted are three new content additions.
3. All pre-order bonuses and material from the Ascended Edition
Players will be able to enjoy more than only the new content, as the Xbox launch also offers some technical improvements. Several hardware-based upgrades, such as Variable Refresh Rate (VRR) and Dolby sound, will be available in the next-gen editions.
The Ultimate Edition release will also include a new update that adds some long-awaited features. The co-op feature is being stretched to new heights in order to improve the multiplayer experience in the game.
Improvements are also on the way to tweak how various game mechanisms work. At first sight, some of these appear to be favorable, which will undoubtedly pique the interest of fans. All of these modifications will be brought to Godfall in the Exalted update, which will be released on April 7.

Can Godfall be resurrected with the Xbox launch?
The Xbox’s availability will likely attract new gamers who were previously unable to play the game on their systems. In addition, considering the rate and the amount of content included in the package, the initial pricing appears to be a good deal.
It should be mentioned that the game’s design and gameplay have been a source of major criticism. There are no in-app purchases, and everything is acquired through gameplay.
