Far Cry 5 is FREE This Weekend on the Epic Games Store – here’s how to get it

If you’re one of the half a dozen people that haven’t picked up the best-selling Far Cry 5 yet, we’ve got good news – the game is free this weekend on PC via the Epic Games Store.

Farcry 5 is a first-person shooter game, created by Ubisoft Montreal and Ubisoft Toronto and, is published by Ubisoft. Farcry 5 is the fifth installment of the game.

The game starts in Hope Country, a fictional place in Montana, United States. The main story roams around the Project at Eden’s Gate, there is a cult who is currently in command and is the leader, Joseph Seed.

Players control a Junior Deputy Sheriff. Joseph Seed is the gang leader from whom our player wants to run away and to get the leadership of the nation. This is an open-world game in which players fight enemy soldiers and wildlife using varieties of weapons. The game consists of a good storyline and side quests, and also a multiplayer mode.

It was released on March 27, 2018, for Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Stadia. Dan Hay and Patrik Methe directed the game.

How to Redeem Far Cry 5 for free – Free To Play Weekend

For the whole coming week and weekend, Farcry 5 is free to play via Epic Games Store or Ubisoft Connect. The free period started on August 5 and runs until August 9. One can download it now for free.

 Farcry 5 turned out to be a great game even after getting a bad review in the earlier period. It has a lot of real-life political elements, which makes the game better. The game consists of great sceneries and is beautiful to look at. But you can’t get a single minute to stand and appreciate the culture as wildlife creatures will continuously keep attacking you.

 The game Farcry 5 has great multiplayer action sequences and Map Editor. Map Editors are not available in any other part of the game series. It also includes Hyper-realistic Gregg’s map.

On Ubisoft Connect, the free trial started on August 5, 6 am PDT / 2 pm BST, while on Epic Games Store and Stadia, the trial will start at 10 am PDT / 6 pm BST. If you want to purchase it later, you can get it for 80% off.
