Wentworth Season 9 Episode 8: Recap
Wentworth Season 9 Episode 8 was titled “The Abyss.” It was directed by Beck Cole. The episode starts with Rita and Allie Ruby talking about the US defense secretary’s murder on the news. They presume that if Judy is interlinked to it all as on a terrorism charge she’s in jail. On the other side, Will makes a contract with Ferguson to keep his and Vera’s secret between them. For the time being, Lou threatens Rita not to come in between her plan. After that Rita meets Judy and asks her to say Lou to stop going after Marie.
Furthermore, Ruby and Rita get charged with a police murder even though they have given proof of their innocence. We will also see Vera get mad over Ferguson when she finds the snap of her kid connects to Ferguson. This thing makes her mad and afraid of her daughter. Vera decides to give poison to Ferguson and to kill her but she stops Jake from drinking that milk. Although Ferguson also decides to kill her but left the place without doing anything because of some reason.
On the other side, Lou comes across a phone that has recordings and is set up by Marie. She used to hear every recording present in it. But when Lou gets to know about the reality of Rita, the situation becomes serious. In front of everyone, she has confronted her and speaks out the truth that she is a cop, working undercover since her arrival. Boomer and Ruby tell everyone that Rita is not a policewoman as they know her well. Though Rita doesn’t say a single word in her defense. In the end, instantly, a culprit attacks Rita on her head. While she’s on the ground everyone starts beating her.

After the ending of the previous episode. Viewers can’t wait for the next episode. They are excited about it. In Australia, Wentworth Season 9 Episode 5 is set to release on Tuesday, October 19, 2021, at 8:30 pm on Fox Showcase. The episode will be titled “Last Stand” Since we are close to the finale the episode 9 will be a must-watch.
