The voyage of the guardian spirit to the human world starts with Platinum End Episode 3, where God quitting and sending 13 guardian spirits to the human world. God disclosed that he worked hard to make a better human world but, now it’s high time for guardian spirit to do their part. To become the next God, angels will assemble the chosen Ones. Platinum End discloses that to become the next God the chosen Ones have to compete for the authority. We saw from the Latest Platinum End Episode that God was giving orders for competition to all the guardian spirits.
For so many years there is a tradition they practice that if God is quitting their throne then they have to assemble the Chosen Ones who will compete to be the next God. From A-C, the guardian spirits had different rankings. Those humans who get the higher rank Spirits are fortunate since it will automatically make their path easy to God’s throne. God said that when they choose the next God, their work will be over. Since humans can’t get anything they want but whoever becomes the god is a blessing for humans.
Platinum End Episode 2: Recap
In Platinum End episode 2, the guardian spirits have 999 days to finish the given task. Now, the mission had started. Humans and guardian spirits will stay together. Nasse who is an angel meets Mirai. He is the first one to meet with the guardian spirit. At first, he couldn’t believe that it’s true but after that Nasse tells Mirai to believe her. Mirai saw the guardian spirit power and realized that it’s not a dream. It’s happening for real. He got to know about the 13 candidates who compete with him to become the next God.
Mirai suffered a lot in his life. He lives with his relatives who used to torture him. He believed that God didn’t exist but when he met Nasse, his thinking got changed. Nasse thinks why Mirai doubts himself. We saw he is doubting himself and wondering if he can become the next God because he thinks he’s not worth it and can’t take care of anything. Guardian spirit tells him that if he will doubt himself, he will going to lose this life he has for now. Furthermore, Mirai will get back to his miser phrase since he can’t believe God. He will get the happiness he deserves if he will believe God.
He believes that everyone deserves to be happy in his life no matter what they have faced in the past. Mirai was missing his mother and that brought some memories where he used to enjoy with his mother. He faced his family’s death at a very young age. Now, his mother is no more. He’s broken into pieces. But Now, Mirai had a reason to live his life. Nasse will be supporting him. Guardian spirit and Mirai decided to face his uncle to solve their complications. But Mirai determined to complete his application form since the deadline is the next day.

Platinum End Episode 3 is set to release on Friday, 22 October 2021 on Crunchyroll at 1:28 AM JST. The title of Platinum End episode 3 is “Heart’s Beloved”. Nasse and Mirai had become great partners and somehow adjusted to submit the application form in the morning. Mirai’s guardian spirit guides him every day and used to walk with him. Mirai and angel learn about the devil, who is killing human beings. But they both save the world by defeating the devil. Afterward, Mirai comes across Nasse’s opponent angel and the episode ended.
