Well, we know the posters went viral on social media claiming the 1992 hit film is going to have a remake as a live-action film. That would have its release in 2024. But is that really true?

There have been so many movies that have been remake into live-action. Some are in rumours to be made yet. We heard about Ferngully: The Last Rainforest too to have a remake in the live-action film. In fact, a poster of the same was shared on Facebook naming the star cast of it. Not to forget, Ferngully: The Last Rainforest has been a hit film of 1992. But is it really getting remake into live-action now?

Well, a Facebook post shared a poster of the rumoured live-action film. As mentioned the star cast of it is Zendaya, Benedict Cumberbatch and Jim Carrey along with many others. The release date of the movie too was shared in the post claiming it to come out on Christmas 2024.
Is Zendaya to star in Ferngully: The Last Rainforest live-action film?
Fans have been excited to know that Disney is working on Ferngully: The Last Rainforest live-action film. The truth behind the announcement is something different. Disney hasn’t made any such announcement so far about the movie. As such you can’t expect the movie by Christmas next year.
Moreover, the viral poster on Facebook had named the star cast of the movie including Zendaya. But even the named celebrities in the poster didn’t mention any such live-action film happening to release in 2024. So, we can believe it was merely a rumour. Hence, don’t expect Zendaya in it too.

This isn’t the first time Zendaya has been rumoured to be cast in a live-action film. Prior to this, the Euphoria actress was also rumoured to be in the live-action film starring as Moana. Though that too was just a rumour and nothing true.
This time too even Zendaya hasn’t said anything about the Ferngully: The Last Rainforest live-action film. Also, Disney has no such movie lined up to release during Christmas next year. Yet fans were happy to know about the rumours though.
