Although, there are no confirmations yet from the Marvel Cinematic Universe regarding the same, yet Norman Reedus is expected to do the role. However, as The Walking Dead series is about to come to an end, Norman Reedus can take a break to shoot for the MCU as the new Ghost Rider, played on the big screen by Nicolas Cage, as the motorcycle-riding, flaming-skulled, antagonist.

Norman Mark Reedus is an American actor. He was born on the 6th of January, 1969. Reedus is famous for starring in the popular AMC horror drama series The Walking Dead as Daryl Dixon. He has done many films like The Boondock Saints in 1999. He even did its sequel The Boondock Saints II: All Saints Day in 2009, as Murphy MacManus. In 2002, he acted as Scud in Marvel’s Blade II. He was also seen as Marco in Deuces Wild in 2002. Norman’s recent one was the AMC TV show Ride with Norman Reedus.
Personal life of Norman Reedus
Firstly, Norman Reedus was in a five-year relationship with supermodel Helena Christensen. They were together from 1998 to 2003. On the contrary, the two were not married. Mingus Lucien Reedus is their son who was born in 1999. They have always been friends. The two share joint custody of their son.
However, in February 2005, Norman Reedus had a head injury. Fortunately, he survived the accident, when a truck collided with his car in Germany. Furthermore, his nose was reconstructed. There were four screws inserted in his nose and his left eye socket with titanium as an aid.
The drama in Norman Reedus’s life didn’t stop at this. In 2015, during the filming of Sky, Reedus met Diane Kruger, the showrunner. Reedus and Kruger were first seen together as a couple in July 2016. Eventually, in November 2018, Kruger gave birth to their daughter.

Norman Reedus reacted confidently to this entire news. However, earlier this year, Reedus had an interview with Marvel. According to ComicBook.com, he revealed that he would love to join the MCU as Marvel’s Ghost Rider.
Norman said, “I want to play Ghost Rider. This Ghost Rider controversy has been around for years, and yes, tell Marvel to include me in the cast.”
Furthermore, Giant Freakin Robot in their news revealed Norman Reedus’s statement. They mentioned that Norman Reedus’s revealed that he has already accepted the offer and joined the MCU as Ghost Rider.
