The film premiered at the El Capitan Theatre in Los Angeles on November 3, 2021. In addition, it was on big-screen in the United States and Canadian theatres on November 24.
In Colombia’s mountains, in a place called Encanto, lives an extraordinary family, the Madrigals. The Madrigal family, firstly, has become a famous name in every household. It plays a central role in the transformation of Afro-Latino and non-Black Latino cultures in the movie. Moreover, it depicts a raw as well as an emotional story of the same. The middle Madrigal sister, Luisa is a popular character among the young kids. Consequently, the movie portrays her gift of strength- internal as well as physical. Although, as opposed to the movie, she did not have any muscles. Meanwhile, the character modeling supervisor Dylan Ekren shared on Twitter how hard it was to get Disney executives on board with Luisa’s muscular look.
