Kawaki on the other hand asks Boruto to withdraw from the match since he knows that the titular main lead cannot compete against Code.

Boruto Episode 290: A Quick Recap
The 290th episode of Boruto is titled, ‘Presence.’
The previous episode opens with Boruto and Kawaki playing a game with their friends. However, the former gets annoyed because he is being watched and it violates his privacy.
Moreover, Inojin then begins to explain Konoha’s sensory system and its working. Subsequently, Kawaki attentively listens to Inojin’s words and learns that the sensory unit cannot sense when somebody’s chakra is erased.
