Jimin, a vocalist in the South Korean band BTS left his fans worried after he shared a video of himself crying this weekend. However, his bandmates, J-Hope and V, gave their hilarious take on the viral clip.

BTS’ Jimin took to his official Instagram account on Sunday to post a video of himself bawling his eyes out. Moreover, fans were shocked and started wondering what would have happened to make their idol cry.

However, eagle-eyed fans were quick to realize that he was emotional about the food that he was eating in the video.

In the video, Jimin is seen getting emotional while he ate chicken wings and ramen. In addition, we hear his band member J-Hope’s latest track, On The Street playing in the background of the clip.

Meanwhile, Jimin’s ‘soulmate’ V also known as Kim Taehyung’s shared his reaction to the clip.

He commented simply with, ‘I was going to upload this on your birthday…’

Besides that, J-Hope also took to the comment section to share his perplexed take on Jimin’s video.

He wrote, ‘You posted this?’

BTS fans react to Jimin’s crying video

Fans were divided over the recent crying video of Jimin as they took to their respective social handles to express their views.

Additionally, while some fans found it hilarious that Jimin was bawling his eyes for food, others believed that he was crying because J-Hope was departing for military service.

A fan wrote, ‘jimin in his second military wife era, and hobi hasn’t left yet…’

Someone else chimed in to say, ‘Give Jimin all the Oscars now.’

A different fan pointed out, ‘The food must be too good.’

Besides that, Jimin is gearing up to drop his first solo album titled FACE later this month. Also, BTS’s management company Big Hit issued a statement to address Jimin’s upcoming album.

They mentioned, ‘This is BIGHIT MUSIC. BTS member Jimin will be releasing his first solo album FACE. FACE is all about Jimin facing himself head-on as he gets ready for his next step as a solo artist.’

Furthermore, they said, ‘Jimin will see the fans through various activities including the FACE release, so we ask for your continued interest and support for Jimin’s first official solo activity.’

The agency went on to reveal that the pre-order for Jimin’s new album will begin on 22nd February at 11 am (KST). The album is scheduled to release on 24th March at 1 am (KST).
