Sanjou, leader of 400 Mawozo, published this video with Addison Pierre Maalouf, AKA YourFellowArab, saying he and his Haitian fixer have been released unconditionally and without ransom.

The circumstances surrounding YourFellowArab’s release have sparked speculation, particularly due to a peculiar video that surfaced, depicting him seated alongside his captor. He recounted being forcibly taken away in a vehicle by his captors, who then initiated negotiations for ransom by contacting his family. The YouTuber emphasized that the videos circulating on social media, showing him seemingly relaxed in the presence of his captors, were merely a facade to mask the perilous situation he was in.
