Fans expressed concern last month after seeing footage of the “OOOUUU” hitmaker Young M.A at the barbershop. After sharing the video, fans became concerned that she was sick and called out her barber for sharing it. After spending a week in the hospital, Young M.A revealed she has “successfully recovered from several conditions.” She shared images and videos of a recent trip by the water earlier this week. The singer shared her struggles through her new music, announcing that it was time to share them with her fans. Young M.A (an acronym for Young Me. Always) is an American rapper born Katorah Kasanova Marrero on April 3, 1992. A quadruple-platinum hit single called “Ooouuu” earned her widespread recognition. The video for the single has garnered more than 400 million views on YouTube. She was nominated for awards including Female Hip-Hop Artist of the Year and Artist of the Year and BET and MTV Artist of the Year following the success of her debut single. Several magazines began featuring her.

A week later, Young M.A confirmed she spent time in the hospital, where she was successfully treated for several conditions. She is now “on the road to recovery.” Earlier this week, the Brooklyn rapper shared pictures and videos from a recent trip to the beach. Because of this, I appreciate everything she wrote in the caption. On Sunday evening (Apr. 9), Young M.A shared a welcome update on her Instagram Stories. You get the idea, but it’s a long story. Young M.A said it is only a small setback for a comeback. Throughout my life, I made a number of mistakes, which eventually caught up with me. As she continued, I just want to let you know that I’m doing much better besides all that. I’ve been feeling better. I have been very sober for a long time. Since I want to take you along on my journey, I won’t go into specifics. Besides releasing new music, I am also releasing a documentary. You know I’m mysterious. As far as my personal problems are concerned, I keep them to myself. But now it’s time to tell you about it. I’m going to tell you about it now. Following that, Young M.A posted a second post asking for patience in the hopes of releasing new music by the summer. In conclusion, she promised that it would be a summer like no other. Stay tuned. Be patient with me too, man. Because I know it will be me. It’s my fault. I love you all. However, you know. Unfortunately, things do happen. But I got you back.
