Who is YNW Melly?
YNW Melly is a popular American rapper and singer. His real name is Jamell Maurice Demons. He is famous for his songs like Murder On My Mind, Mixed Personalities, Suicidal and more. Apart from his career as a rapper, there were several other things that brought him in limelight.
As back in 2019, the rapper was charged with two first-degree murders on him. Which has put him behind the bars with lifetime imprisonment. Yet now there are several reports about his release from the jail where he is for the murder charges.
Is YNW Melly to get released from Jail?
Post the charges of two first-degree murders on Melly. It was recently rumored he is to have his release from the Broward County Jail, Florida. Meanwhile, he was positive for COVID-19 as well. Due to this, it came that he might be having his release.
However, it seems that he had his treatment for COVID-19. But he is still in jail post that. Further, his mother Julie has said that her son would be out of jail soon. Though she didn’t reveal when Melly would come out of the jail. Also, it was long back when he was supposed to have a release. But it didn’t happen due to COVID-19.

Well yes, YNW Melly still stays in jail in 2022. Back in 2019, he was charged murders of two of his friends Anthony Williams and Christopher Thomas Jr. For which he was guilty. Both Williams and Thomas died back in 2018 after being shot.
In the murder charges, not just rapper Melly was accused but even another group member Cortlen Henry was found guilty too. According to the Miramar Police, it was Melly who shot Thomas and Williams dead. While Henry was assisting Melly in the cover-up of the incident.
