The 30-year-old rapper, Yella Beezy, also known as Markies Deandre Conway, was arrested Thursday in connection with a 2021 s*xual assault charge, according to online jail records. Beezy was apprehended by the Collin County Sheriff’s Office just one day after a judge issued an arrest warrant for him.

The warrant’s reason is “bond held insufficient,” which means the judge in the case has decided the rapper’s previous bail is insufficient. His bond is currently set at $1 million.

He was arrested six months ago on a variety of felony charges. It includes s*xual assault and abandoning or endangering a child. He was also charged with unlawfully carrying a weapon, which is a misdemeanor.

Yella Beezy was released on a $57,500 bond following his arrest.

Details of Yella Beezy’s arrest

A few days later, an unnamed woman claimed that Beezy raped her on a date, revealing new details about the case. Following the allegations, Beezy defended himself on social media. He said that he was arrested before he was even questioned. He was aware of everything that was going on. But the claims were false. “Everyone who knows me knows that I am not pressed for s*x or anything of the sort. I’m not a fighter.”

In response to the child endangerment charges, he stated that everyone knew he would never harm or endanger his children. He stated that he would die for them and added, “So, child endangerment has nothing to do with anything s*xual, for those who don’t understand. It was something that occurred when they arrived and arrested me.
