XXXTentacion’s mother responds to her son’s killers life sentences

XXXTentacion’s murderers are going to spend the rest of their lives serving behind prison bars. However, the late rapper’s mother has shared her response to the men who took her son’s life.

XXXTentacion’s mother issues a warning for her son’s murderers amid life sentence verdict

XXXTentacion’s mother, Cleopatra Bernard, believes that her son’s murderers should sleep with one eye open after reaching jail. Moreover, she suspects that the men will have massive targets behind their backs.

If you didn’t know, Judge Michael Usan ruled out on 6th April Thursday that Michael Boatwright, Trayvon Newsome, and Dedrick Williams will receive life sentences without parole. 

Subsequently, the trio was convicted in March for their role in the 2018 robbery and for shooting XXXTentacion to death.

In addition, Bernard claimed that the sentence is appropriate considering XXXTentacion died when he was only twenty years old. 

She revealed that throughout the trial Boatwright tried to provoke her by blowing kisses and smirking at her.

Furthermore, she referred to her son’s killer as, ‘Bu*tright’ and mentioned that she hopes that he, ‘will now get the kiss he wants so bad.’

Meanwhile, she also issued a message or a warning for both Newsome and Williams.

She stated, ‘My hope for these other gentlemen is they will retain a firm grasp on the slippery soap.’

More about XXXTentacion’s death

XXXTentacion and his car were ambushed outside a Florida motorcycle dealership in June 2018. Additionally, the attacker shot him to death in broad daylight in order to steal a Louis Vuitton bag and $50,000 in cash.

Besides that, XXXTentacion left behind a son who was born after his tragic death. 

Solomon Sobande, the late rapper’s manager, reflected on the tragedy while talking on behalf of the family during the sentencing.

He said, ‘This is a loss we will never truly recover from. We will never get to see Jahseh live to his full potential, we will never get to watch him grow old, we will never get to watch him be a father.’

Also, XXXTentacion’s girlfriend, Jenesis Sanchez, and the mother of his child Gekyume took to her Instagram Stories to address the verdict.

She wrote, ‘After 5 long years you may finally rest in peace. Gekyume will never get to meet you earthside, but it is my job as a mother to ensure I share those special memories with him. Jah was robbed of his life and Geky was robbed of his father.’
